Brooklyn Mahjong and Alexandra Kaehler's limited-edition mahjong tile set is the result of a shared design ethos: great design is timeless, unexpected, and unapologetically personal. We both believe refined beauty doesn't have to be boring, sophistication doesn't need to be serious, and the items we live with should be loved and used.

Alex's design process is rooted in intimacy and built from an understanding of what matters to her clients. She translates that into spaces layered with unexpected colors, patterns, textures, and objects. That same intentionality shaped this limited-edition tile set + mat.

The result is a collection that's entirely its own: an unexpected color palette that feels both timeless and contemporary, that is studded with personal touches: the birth flowers of Alex's three children, a nod to her husband's love of fishing, and traces of her home's botanical gardens.
